"Strong Values, Strong Leaders, Character
Counts" is one of the Tall Pine Council,
Boy Scouts of America's themes. Funding is a vital
part of being prepared each time that a boy joins
Cub Scouting or Boy Scouting, dreaming of fun
and adventure.. or to a young adult entering a
Venturing Crew or Explorer Post with high hopes
of finding the path to a fulfilling career in
an adult world that he or she does not fully understand.
With the necessary funds, the Tall Pine Council,
BSA will continue to support the packs, troops,
varsity teams, venturing crews, and posts and
prove "Strong Values, Strong Leaders, Character
Counts!"
For Every 100 Boys who join scouting:
12 will have their first contact with the
church
1 will enter the clergy
4 will become Eagle Scouts
1 will save a life with his scout skills
8 will enter a profession first learned through
the merit badge program
Your Contributions On The Local Level Supports:
Volunteer training
Operation of the Scout Service Center and
Camps
Liability Insurance for pack, troop, and venturing
activities
Books and Materials
Important news mailings including the "Counciline"
Professional and Office Staff & coaching
and guidance for volunteers
