A COMMUNITY/FAMILY SERVICE EFFORT

The Tall Pine Council is pleased to provide the attached materials and graphics for their Scouting families to use. Tall Pine Council encourages the reproduction of the materials and to share them throughout the Scouting family and the community. Many families are in search of ways to relieve their fears and regain a sense of security; we believe Scouting has a positive, worthwhile roll to play in that effort.

Despiste desires to insulate children from tragedy and loss, young people are affected and sense confusion. During times of uncertainty, children's sense of security and control needs to be bolstered. Family members can best accomplish this with a new re-emphasis on values. More family activites may be found in the Cub Scout Family Activity Book (Item no. 33012, available from the Scout Shop).
